Star Jump NFTs on Open Sea

by | Laboratory, Motion Graphics

Star Jumps is a collection of animated wormholes that take collectors on a journey through the imagination. Wormholes are theoretical passages through space-time, mathematically predicted by Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity. They connect two separate regions within a universe or even separate universes.

These NFT wormholes represent a journey through my imagination, blending 3D animation with 2D cel animation and 2D painting.

About the Collection

Star Jumps is an evolving collection of animations made by hand by Pat Shannahan. Every part of the animation process is a choice made by a human, not an algorithm. I hand-paint most of the elements in Procreate and animate them in After Effects, incorporating frame-by-frame cel animation.

About the Artist

Pat Shannahan is a multimedia artist specializing in video, animation, and photography. His previous NFT work includes creating three NFTs for USA Today.
