Google Web Story explaining COVID 19

In the early days of the pandemic the public was hungry for information about the new virus. At this point in the pandemic it was still mostly in China and was starting to show up in the U.S. We put together this Google Web Story for USA Today to help explain what it was and how to protect yourself. 

I animated the cover to give people a sense of what the virus looks like and animated maps to show the origination and spread.

Google Web Stories are visually rich stories built for a mobile experience. Think of them like Instagram Stories except with the added benefits of being permanent on your website, the ability to add links on each slide and indexable by Google.

These stories are best viewed on a mobile phone as the formatting can sometimes be off on a desktop.
