Experiments with Stardust

Stardust
One of the most powerful plugins for After Effects is Stardust by Superluminal. Stardust is a node based modular 3d partical system. It can do everything from physics simulation to volumetric rendering. It’s a powerful plugin but it has a steep learning curve. The best way to learn how to use it is to jump in and experiment.
Each rectangular prisim is a single partical emitting from a grid and being affected by turbulances and replicant nodes. A 3d camera is then flown throguh the system to give the viewer’s poiunt of view.
